Nothing can match the exhilaration of a jet ski. Resorts and sports stores all over the world offer personal watercraft (PWC) rental for an affordable price and it can be a great first step into the world of boating. Term jet ski rental can be a fantastic and memorable experience on the water.

For an exciting twist on conventional boating many have turned to a jet ski,  wave runner, or sea-doo experience.  This has lead many to become a personal watercraft enthusiast. You can rent one by the hour, but then you really don't get the same free-fun-fantastic feeling or PWC experience when you are constantly worrying about the per hour charge. For those who have summer/seasonal/weekly homes, condo's, apartments may consider "short-term" or "long-term" rentals of a few days, weeks, or even an entire season.  Jet Ski "Term Rentals" are for those who are considering owning, or simply want to take the hassle and stress out of routine maintenance, summerizing / winterizing,  flushing, and rather pay for the convenience of Term renting.

Since Jet Ski's are fairly easy to maneuver, wave runner rentals will typically seat one or two passengers, but some of the newest models seat three people and its stable design will keep you upright through sharp turns. A personal watercraft, or PWC, is a surprisingly versatile machine. Most jet ski rentals will reach speeds over 40 mph, and many PWC companies provide dry/wet suits to keep you warm on cooler days. If you have no previous jet ski experience, most rental companies will offer sound advice and an on-water orientation to prepare you for your ride.

Although there is no experience needed, jet ski rentals do come with some rules and requirements to ensure the safety of the rider and the PWC. The state os NJ has a minumim age of 16 years old to operate a PWC, while you must be 18 to rent from other companies. For a long-term personal watercraft rental, the rental company will generally call for a major credit card and a valid driver’s license, and rentals will only be granted to drivers over 21 years old. Although short-term rentals will only require a damage deposit, physical damage and liability jet ski insurance is strongly advised for a long-term rental. Keep in mind that you will also need either a a trailer rental to get the PWC to the water and back again, or a slip to dock your rental keeping it save while on/out of the water.
